The Research Centre for Strategy, Organisation and Digital Technologies is a central facility of ESB Business School. The professors at the Centre deal with current topics from the context of the transformation of organisations in this age of digitisation and internationalisation.
Main areas of research
The transformation of organisations in times of digitisation, sustainability and internationalisation is a central challenge for sustainable management. Central trends are fundamentally changing organisation, work and leadership and result in new demands on the design of strategies and customer relationships.
A key driver is digital technologies, which enable new forms of collaboration, decision-making and value creation in an international context. They are also a central factor for a stronger implementation of sustainability.
The result of this is a high demand for applied research in the transformation process towards a sustainable management of digitally transformed, sustainable and internationally oriented organisations.
