Scholarship opportunity

€5,000 award for MSc DIME students from AX Semantics

In the MSc Digital Industrial Management and Engineering research master’s programme, students collaborate on their own projects alongside experienced scientists from the very first semester. When applying, interested students must submit a concise exposé outlining their proposed research work, including the problem statement and objectives.

Now, there’s an exciting incentive for research concepts related to AI in production or logistics: AX Semantics, a leading provider of natural language generation (NLG) technologies based in Stuttgart, is offering a €5,000 scholarship for the most compelling exposé.

The DIME Master’s degree course focuses on “Digitalisation in Industry,” includes an integrated semester abroad, and leads to a double degree. AX Semantics, a longstanding partner of Werk150 in AI, aims to support a student’s study abroad experience at Stellenbosch University in South Africa through this scholarship.

All students beginning their Master’s degree in the DIME programme during the winter semester of 2024/25 are eligible to apply. As part of the application exposé, they must present their research idea related to the application of artificial intelligence in production or logistics. The selection committee, comprising MSc DIME faculty and a representative from AX Semantics, will make the final decision. The application deadline is 15th July 2024.
