The City
Wilmington, a historic city located on the East Coast of the US that is widely known from TV-series and movie productions. Students will find breathtaking beaches and the largest port in North Carolina. The moderately warm temperatures in North Carolina are perfect to escape the German autumn and winter. Lagoons and lighthouses, the Blue Ridge Mountains and the unique coastal landscape make the area a particularly attractive location.
The University
On an academic level, UNCW convinces with its outstanding AACSB accreditation. With more than 260 student organizations and a traditional American campus setting, UNCW offers a great academic experience. It offers a number of interesting Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate Degrees programmes. During one semester at UNCW, Bachelor students select 4 to 6 courses and can mix and match classes from different programmes. International students can choose from the following schools and colleges: College of Arts and Sciences, College of Health & Human Services, Cameron School of Business, Watson College of Education.
