The City
Dublin, the capital city of the Republic of Ireland, is a great student city. Situated on Ireland’s east coast, it is close to the mountains and the sea, making it possible to escape the bustle of the city for a walk in the countryside or a swim in the sea. The city centre is relatively small and easy to navigate. Each year, more than 100,000 students come to study in Dublin, adding to the city’s vibrancy and to its increasingly cosmopolitan population.
The University
Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin), one of the largest third-level educators in Ireland, offers over 200 programmes to students from more than 85 countries. The emphasis of the TU Dublin student experience is on practice, with a range of opportunities in the curriculum to apply theory to real-world challenges. TU Dublin is located on campuses spanning the three largest population centres of Ireland’s capital city - Dublin City, Blanchardstown and Tallaght – all of which are easily accessed by public transport. With a wide range of societies and sports clubs, TU Dublin students have plenty of opportunities to enjoy vibrant campus life.
