The University
Tohoku University was established in 1907. We have four campuses in Sendai city. The Graduate School of Economics and Management is located in Kawauchi campus within easy access of the city subway. In the 2021 Times Higher Education's annual Japan University Rankings, Tohoku University remains at number one for the second year in a row, even improving on last year's performance in some categories.
