The City
When you choose KU, you’re also choosing the town of Kutztown. Nestled conveniently between Reading and Allentown, Kutztown is a quaint borough spread across 2 miles of beautiful, rural Pennsylvania Dutch community. Our town is home to approximately 5,000 residents. Main Street is lined with family-owned businesses, restaurants, and shops, and connects the town and campus. Partnerships between the town and KU involve fun, food, safety, and community.
The University
With just over 8,000 students, Kutztown University is considered a medium-sized institution. The average class size is 24 students, so you'll form close bonds with faculty and classmates, but at the same time, there are always new people to meet! With over 100 areas of study, including areas such as business, the visual and performing arts, and the STEM fields, you will find something that sparks your interest. You will also always find ways to stay involved on campus through our 200+ student organisations.
